What is Agentic AI?

    • Manually gather and enter customer details.

Example 2 - Building an assistant for prior authorization in healthcare

A common challenge faced in healthcare is the problem of prior authorization. Prior authorization is a process used in healthcare where a healthcare provider must obtain approval from a health insurance company before prescribing a specific medication, treatment, or service to ensure it will be covered under the patient's insurance plan. The main purpose of prior authorization is to control costs, ensure that the treatment is medically necessary, and to prevent overuse or misuse of certain treatments.

    • Repeat the entire process for each new user input
  • Agentic AI Approach (>90% accuracy)
    • Connect to internal DB to access drug policies. Augment that information by connecting to public URLs to update the database
    • The agent will create a rule validation playbook and apply that to each new use case
    • Humans can share feedback to the agent which will learn and improve
    • The more user inputs, the better the system gets.
